In this keynote, Dr. Matthew Chow, former president of Doctors of BC and current Chief Mental Health Officer at TELUS Health, reflects on how these changes are reshaping leadership in care delivery. He explores how nurse practitioners are uniquely positioned to bridge clinical expertise, human connection and emerging technologies, including AI, to expand and strengthen care. The session highlights NPs as a potent force in a high-tech, high-touch future where skill and empathy — rather than titles alone — are transforming health.
